Our Mining Operation
For over 20 years, American Rock Salt has been dedicated to supplying the North Eastern United States with rock salt integral to deicing roads during the icy winter seasons, ensuring the safety of millions of drivers along the eastern seaboard.
With the help of our experienced miners, American Rock Salt can produce between 10,000 to 20,000 tons of halite (rock salt) every day.

Unlike our competitors, all of the rock salt that we sell has been mined in the United States. While some competitors may sell you foreign-mined salt, our is the only one to meet all “Made in America” requirements for federally funded state DOT projects.
